Advancing Health, a new permanent exhibit presented by Mayfield Brain & Spine, is set to open at the Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) this July. The exhibit will focus on body systems, medical innovations, and health care professions, with the goal of inspiring a new generation to take care of themselves and others.
Elizabeth Pierce, president & CEO of CMC, describes the exhibit as an immersive experience that allows visitors to zoom inside their own bodies to see how they function and how technology can help when systems fail. The exhibit is designed around nine major body systems, including the heart, blood, lungs, muscles, bones, digestion, immune system, nervous system, and mental health.
